How training credits work

The training system is designed to accommodate various data sizes and model complexities. It uses training credits, which are consumed when a model is trained. The number of credits required depends on the size of the dataset.

Data Size and Credit Consumption

The following table shows how many training credits are required based on the number of rows in a dataset:

Number of RowsTraining Credits Required
< 100,0002
100,000 - 999,9994
1,000,000 - 9,999,9996
10,000,000 - 200,000,00012

Training Credit Pricing

The cost per training credit decreases as more credits are purchased. Here's the pricing structure for training credits:

Number of CreditsPrice per Credit (USD)
1-5$79
6-9$69
10+$63

How It Works

  1. Determine the size of the dataset (number of rows).
  2. Refer to the first table to see how many training credits will be needed.
  3. Use the second table to calculate the cost based on the number of credits required.
  4. Purchase the necessary credits.
  5. Train the model, which will consume the appropriate number of credits.

Example

With a dataset of 500,000 rows:

  • 4 training credits would be needed (from the first table).
  • The cost would be 4 × $79 = $316 (using the 1-5 credit tier from the second table).
