Taran John

Founder & ML Scientist

Taran John

First-class honours in Software Engineering from Victoria University of Wellington. PhD candidate at the same university. Research focus in evolutionary computation, medical imaging, and financial ML — published at A-rank conferences including EvoStar and GECCO, and in Q1 journals such as Computers and Security. Best Paper at EvoApplications 2024, Best Paper nomination at EvoStar 2025, and recipient of the SPECIES Research Scholarship (one of four awarded worldwide). Selected by the NZ Space Agency as one of seven Scholars for Space to work at NASA JPL. Builds and deploys production ML systems end-to-end: problem scoping, model design, pipeline engineering, and deployment.

Mohnish Ramanujam

Founder & ML Engineer

Mohnish Ramanujam

First-class honours in Software Engineering (AI specialisation) from Victoria University of Wellington. Currently at TradeMe — New Zealand's largest online marketplace — building and maintaining ML infrastructure at scale. Covers model serving, monitoring, pipelines, and production ML operations. Focused on keeping ML systems running reliably in production with real users.

Will Scott-Rodriguez

Founder & Product Developer

Will Scott-Rodriguez

Commerce degree from Victoria University of Wellington. Full-stack developer with experience across business strategy and technical execution. Founding engineer at Pioneer Finance — designed the database, tech stack, and production infrastructure from scratch. Background in shipping fintech products end-to-end, from data modelling to scalable system design.
